Educational Qualification

• Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

• Final-year students of undergraduate courses (whose results will be declared before the commencement of the academic year 2026–27) are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• There is no upper age limit to appear for CMAT 2026.

Nationality

• Applicants must be Indian citizens.

Minimum Marks Requirement

• No minimum percentage of marks is required to appear for CMAT 2026. However, individual participating institutes may have their own cut-off criteria during the admission process.

  • Click on “New Registration” and provide basic details such as name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.

  • Create login credentials (Application Number & Password).

• Fill the Application Form

  • Enter personal details, academic qualifications, communication address, and exam city preferences.

• Upload Documents

  • Upload a scanned passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size.

• Pay the Application Fee

  • Pay the CMAT 2026 exam fee through Credit Card/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm Wallet.

• Download Confirmation Page

  • After successful fee payment, download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

Key Points about CMAT 2026 Fee Payment

• The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Fees can only be paid in online mode; offline/challan payments are not accepted.

• Candidates should ensure successful payment before the last date to avoid cancellation of their application.

• After the declaration of results, download your scorecard from the official NTA website.

2- Apply to CMAT-Participating Institutes

• Use your CMAT 2026 score to apply to AICTE-approved MBA/PGDM colleges accepting CMAT.

3- Shortlisting by Institutes

• Based on your score, institutes will shortlist candidates for the next admission rounds.

4- Selection Rounds

• Most colleges conduct Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) as part of their admission process.

5- Final Merit List

• Institutes prepare the final merit list based on CMAT score, academic performance, work experience (if any), and GD/PI/WAT performance.

6- Admission & Fee Payment

• Selected candidates need to confirm admission by paying the fees and submitting documents within the deadline.

• There is no common counselling; admissions are institute-specific.

• High CMAT scorers can target top B-schools like JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya, Great Lakes, and many AICTE-approved PGDM/MBA colleges.

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2026 assesses the aptitude and skills necessary for MBA/PGDM programs. This online exam comprises five sections, each designed to evaluate distinct abilities.
