Sri Ramaswami Memorial University (SRM University), Chennai, Tamil Nadu is a deemed university. The university is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited 'A' grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The Ministry of HRD has also placed SRM University in the highest category ‘A’. The university offers a variety of courses for undergraduates, postgraduates and doctoral courses in the streams of Engineering, Management, Medicine and Health sciences, and Science and Humanities. SRM University is one of the top ranking universities in India with the capacity of over 38,000 students and more than 2600 faculty across all the campus. It offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Medicine and Health sciences, and Science and Humanities. SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur was established in 1985. Afterwards, various colleges by SRM were established. SRM Engineering College was declared a deemed to be university in 2002 by UGC. In 2003, the college was brought under the bounds of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), a deemed to be university. In 2006, SRMIST changed its name to SRM University when UGC permitted it to be called a deemed University. In 2013 and 2014, SRM University, Haryana and SRM University, Sikkim were established respectively.

The main campus- Kattankulathur, is well connected by bus, rail and air. The nearest railway station to the campus is Potheri. Buses are easily available the nearest railway stations for reaching the campus. Once on the online application page, start by registering for SRM University Admission 2017. Register using your name, email, mobile number, password, state and city. All fields marked with * need to be filled in compulsorily.

Scanned copies of your coloured photograph, signature, 10th class mark sheet and 12th class mark sheet must be kept handy for uploading. The maximum size of each scanned document can be up to 500 KB only.

SRM University UG Admission
SRM University offers admissions to various undergraduate programmes like B.Tech., MBBS, BDS, BBA, B.Sc.,B.Pharm. and a lot more in the streams of Engineering, Sciences, Management Studies, Architecture, Medicine & Health Sciences, Mass Communication & Media, IT & Software, Law and Commerce and Accounting. Formerly known as the SRM Institute of Science and Technology, the SRM University is a deemed university based in Tamil Nadu. The university was founded in the year 1985 as SRM Engineering College and was affiliated to the University of Madras. It was granted the status of deemed to be University by UGC in 2002.
