Kolhan University

Kolhan University (KU) is a Public University, which was established in 2009 in Chaibasa, Jharkhand. It is a UGC recognized university. The Kolhan University has 14 Constituent Colleges and 12 Affiliated Colleges in the geographical district with more than 80,000 students. The University is in the area of the tribal region.

Kolhan University offers Bachelors and Masters degree in Medical, Dental, Engineering, Law, Management, Education. In addition, Vocational/Professional courses are also offered in 11 Colleges. Admission to all programs is strictly based on merit only. Tentatively in the last week of June, forms for admission are available online as well as offline on the official website of the University.

The University provides the scope of scholarship to the research scholars of Rs.4000 per month for a period of two years based on their merit and performance.
