JECRC University has been established under the JECRC University, Jaipur Act 15, 2012, published in the Gazette of Rajasthan dated May 2, 2012. The University is UGC approved and started its operations and admitted students in various courses with effect from the academic session of 2012-13.

The JECRC University has been established with a view to provide world class education to young minds so that they undertake their responsibilities successfully. 

The 32-acre JECRC campus is located around the prime industrial and institutional hub of Jaipur and is well connected with all parts of the city. It has a uniquely built layout that creates the perfect learning ecosystem. The campus has excellent academic and residential facilities. The style of the buildings is unique with large rectangular and linear structures and a well-ventilated interior. The design of the campus demarcating different zones–Residential, Public Buildings and the Academic blocks breaks the monotony with a transitional space and experience. The University has suitable physical infrastructure, a mess providing variety of foods, sports facilities and clubs/societies to ensure learning beyond classrooms.

All programmes offered by the University are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and are affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The University emphasises on not only academics but also on co-curricular activities.
