Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Islamic University are done on the basis of marks scored in the specified qualifying examination and also one the basis of marks scored in the national level entrance examinations or entrance tests conducted by the university at its campus.

Islamic University of Science & Technology Application Process

The registration process for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the university is completely online. The interested and eligible candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps for filling the online application forms.

• Visit the official website of the university http://www.iustlive.com or www.islamicuniversity.edu.in and click on the Admissions 2017 link.
• Applicants are advised to read the instructions carefully and click on ‘Proceed’ button for online submission of application form.
• Apply for the desired programme and select desired programme and preferences and upload your latest passport size photograph. Enter all mandatory personal and academic details.
• Recheck the details entered by you before clicking on submit button. Click on Submit Button to submit the form. After successful submission of the application form, the applicants will get an acknowledgement message that mentions the name, applicant number and application form number.
• The application fee for all programmes is Rs. 1000. The candidates who opt for payment/ self-financing as one of the choices need to pay an additional application fee of Rs. 500, as well as candidates opting for NRI as one of the choices, shall have to pay an additional application fee of Rs. 500.
• Candidates applying for more than one programme need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 100 (per programme) as application fee.
• After the completion of online application process and payment of application fee, the candidates need to take a print out of the downloaded the application form and submit the same along with required documents as mentioned in the Prospectus 2017. The application form and self-attested documents need to be submitted in the concerned Teaching Department at IUST Awantipora either personally or by Registered/ Speed Post to the Registrar, Islamic University of Science and Technology.

Islamic University of Science & Technology PG Admission

Admission to most of the postgraduate programmes offered by the university is done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examinations conducted by the university or other national level entrances like CMAT/MAT. The university offers admission to a number of postgraduate programmes like M.Sc. Statistics, M.Tech. Food Technology, M.Sc. Chemistry, M.Sc. Physics, Master of Computer Applications, Master of Business Applications, M.A. International Relations, M.A. Islamic Studies, M.A. Journalism & Mass Communication, M.A. Economics, M.A. English Literature & Language, etc. The admission process for postgraduate programmes is completely online. The interested and eligible applicants can apply online by visiting one of the official websites of the university. The application fee for postgraduate courses is Rs. 1000. The applicants must read the instructions and eligibility criteria thoroughly before filling the application forms.

The university offers admission to various undergraduate courses like Bachelor of Business Administration, B.Sc. Acturial & Financial Mathematics, B.Tech. Civil Engineering, B.Tech. Electrical Engineering, B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering, B.A. (Hons) in English, etc. Admission to undergraduate programmes is done on the basis of marks scored in qualifying examination. The applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the university can apply for a particular undergraduate programme online only through the official websites of the university. The applicants must read the admission notification, instructions and eligibility criteria before filling the application form for undergraduate admissions at Islamic University. The application fee for an undergraduate programme is Rs. 1000. Below mentioned are the eligibility criteria for all undergraduate programmes offered by the Islamic University.

Islamic University of Science & Technology Admission 2017 (IUST)

Located in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, the Islamic University of Science & Technology is a public university that was established in 2005. The university was formed through an Act No. XVIII of 2005 dated: 7th November passed by J&K State Legislature and notified by the State Government, through Jammu & Kashmir Government Gazette dated: 11-11-2005. IUST is recognized by the UGC and AICTE and is a member of AIU.

The university offers admission to undergraduate programmes, postgraduate programmes, research programmes, diploma programmes and certificate courses. Some of the programmes offered by the university are Bachelor of Business Administration, B.Tech, B.Sc, B.A. (Hons) in English, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications, M.Sc. Physics, M.A. Journalism & Mass Communication, M.A. Islamic Studies, M.Tech. Food Technology, M.A. Economics, M.Sc. Statistics, M.A. Arabic Language & Literature, etc. Admissions to courses offered by the university are done on the basis of marks scored in the specified qualifying examination and also one the basis of marks scored in the entrance tests conducted by the university at its campus. Interested and eligible applicants need to apply online only through the official website of the university. Total of 62% of seats offered by the university are filled in open merit whereas remaining 38% are filled in reserved categories as per merit. Only the candidates residing within Jammu & Kashmir State and/ or who have passed their qualifying examination in the state through State Board/ Universities/ Institutions are eligible to seek admission under open merit as well as reserved categories.
