Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration is a constituent institute of the Manipal University. The mission of the institute is toΒ mould young men and women into competent and responsible professionals with pleasing personalities who would, with requisite experience, become leaders in the hospitality industry.

The candidates who have completed their bachelors degree in some other subject will need to enroll for a bridge programme for three months before applying for the same. | - |

Placement
Apart from the placement facility, students go on industrial tours, attend personality development programmes (PDP) and participate in placement related activities like extempore, mock interviews, technical tests, aptitude tests and other latest trends etc.
Infrastructures
The institute's infrastructure is well structured and well maintained with provision of modern facilities for the students. The campus is widely spread throughout and gives students the a free learning space to explore their aptitude towards academics.
Classroom
The classrooms/ lecture halls in the college are fully air-conditioned and are sound proof.
Laboratory
A computer lab has 25 Personal Computers with the latest configurations. There are 32 workstations that are operational and have MS Office, Hotel Information Systems, Visual Basic and some DTP software. Besides class work, students use the computer lab for club activities. The faculty members are provided with individual laptops. Internet is available only for campus interview or on special occasions only. For regular usage of Internet, computers are provided in the library.
Library
The library is well equipped with nearly 5,634 books on Hotel Management and allied subjects. It subscribes to nearly 40 journals on general and trade subjects from all over the world. A large section for general reading including Sports, History, Culture and Fine Arts etc is available. The library covers 1982.4 square feet and can be used by 80 people at a time.
