University Institute of Pharma Sciences (UIPS) is a part of Chandigarh University. Chandigarh University (CU) offers a unique curriculum designed according to industry demand. The pharmaceutical sciences combine a broad range of scientific disciplines that are critical to the discovery and development of new drugs and therapies. UIS is a modern institute that provides contemporary and research based education in sciences and applied sciences. The main objective of UIPS is to impart competent professionals who can serve the needs of the modern domain of research in drug discovery, clinical trials, marketing, administration, etc. UIPS offers both graduate and postgraduate level degree programs. The college’s infrastructure is well furnished with all modern facilities. The vision & mission of the college is to emerge as a globally recognized university with state-of-art infrastructure for disseminating knowledge and providing a unique platform for learning that will best serve the society at large and also to engage students as learners and develop them as Leaders in an intellectually challenging and contemporarily diverse environment.

UIPS is well equipped with all the modern facilities.
Classroom
There are 7 seminar halls, one each in separate blocks with adjustable lighting and the State-of-the- Art Audio-Video facility and LCD projectors. The University has an800-capacity auditorium, outfitted with the latest digital gadgetry which makes it an ideal center where necessity blended with luxury co-exist.
Laboratory
The state-of-the-art laboratories in the University facilitate the training and teaching of students in various streams. The laboratories cater to the needs of the students studying in the respective departments. Our laboratories comply with the International standards which help the students to be well-conversant with the various instruments. By handling the most sophisticated equipment, the students build up a high confidence level, which benefit them in the long run.

CU Library is one of the central support services of Chandigarh University.
