A good college

The campus life is great, the college also has a huge campus, its own market where everything is available. It is situated in the middle of the city. The gender ratio - 40% girls 60% males. The extracurriculars are good as there are many clubs and committees in which students can enrol him/herself once selected. The labs and libraries are well-maintained.

The university is surrounded with trees, which makes the ambiance peaceful and full of greenery. Easy access to public transport. Best facilities are provided to the students. Library is huge, labs are well equipped, 24/7 Wifi facility, swimming pool, clean drinking water and spacious classrooms. WiFi works amazingly, the speed is good. Nice infrastructure. Excellent faculties. Extracurricular activities are commendable in sports field. Placement cell needs improvement. Less placements are offered to the students. Faculties are experienced and skillful. Modern teaching techniques.

UIET

UIET is the engineering department of Punjab University. It lies in the heart of Chandigarh and provides tremendous exposure. As for faculty members, they are no different than any other faculty members from other government colleges. They are all well qualified. But their behaviour is not nice. Some of them are really good. We have many committees including anything and everything from Entrepreneur Development Cell to Arts and Theatrics Group. But what truly amazes is the number of facilities that you can avail from here. Anything you can think of will surely be in PU. PU is rated as the number 1 university in India.
