TKR College of Engineering and Technology is a modern temple of learning, an off shoot of the TKR Educational Society was established in the year 2002 in a sprawling. The college is engaged in imparting quality technical education to the students so that they become competent engineers, Scientists and academicians etc. The college celebrates freedom of thought, cultivates vision and encourages hard work and also inculcates human values and concern for a better society. The college provides a serene and tranquil environment to the students, boosting their mental potential and preparing them in all aspects to face the cut- throat global competition with a smile on the face and emerge victorious. It has been sanctioned six courses – Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Biotechnology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Master of Computer Applications

Placement

The training and placement cell is headed by a senior retired army officer of our college. The placement officer is assisted by placement coordinators both faculty as well as student coordinators from various departments. He invites representatives from various companies for the campus recruitment. He along with the student coordinators moves around to various companies and inviting the company HRs to our college campus for recruitment purpose. He also arranges personality development courses for final years in order to prepare them for campus placements. Regular aptitude classes are conducted along with tests to train the students for competitive examinations (GRE, TOEFL etc). Students are provided with in-plant training programmes by this training and placement cell.

College review

The college provides a good library and has a nice infrastructure. The college encourages students to participate in sports. The boys hostel is not that good but is ragging free. The college provides Diploma, UG and MBA courses. The cricket ground is good. The college footpath is well-paved.

The management should improve. A more knowledgeable faculty should be appointed. Startups usually visit the campus for placements. The college is located in the city, which is good because it is easily accessible. They provide decent facilities like a cricket ground and canteen. Good transport facility and good maintenance of the campus. The library needs better books.

TKR college is well equipped with good infrastructure and greenery. Clean and safe surrounding. Proximity to airport. Easy access to public transport. The college has 6 branches for B.Tech along side diploma, B-pharmacy, MBA etc. Every department has experienced faculties with PhD graduates in each branch or stream. Students get the perfect opportunity to showcase their talent and develop certain skills. Students are decent, interactive and helpful. Ragging free campus. Good infrastructure. Labs are well equipped. Classrooms are spacious. Digital library. Canteen serves good food. Every year college conducts annual sports meet and a three day fest (SHIZANY),divided into - Traditional day, Artist day and Annual day. Every department has a two day technical fest to showcase innovative ideas and to gain knowledge. Placements are offered by reputed companies with average salary packages. Overall, good college.

The faculties are pretty good, but the management is not. No support from the management, they are money minded. The college management is uncooperative and do not listen to the student wants or queries. Freedom to roam in the campus. Inspiring faculties. Good infrastructure. Teachers are innovative and approachable. They give equal importance to practical and theoretical knowledge. Teaching methods are easy and unique. There are no placements in core industries. But there is a good record for placements in IT field.

Overall, the college is good for studies, it also provides with good placement opportunities. This year, the college has become an autonomous Institute. The techifests organized by the college are very good. The college has a good atmosphere and infrastructure. Every year, around 40-50% students get placements.
