Sonari College is affiliated to Dibrugarh University and approved by NAAC. The college, so far, produces generations of intellectualS, social serverS and contributes in various fields of the society. It is now well equipped with 1400 students and 38 teachers in both Arts and Science stream. The college has introduced UGC sponsored career oriented diploma/certificate programME in Fishery Science, Sericulture, Information and Computer Technology and Functional English which would run parallel to the conventional TDC courses. Various cells, such as, Students Grievance cell, Women Studies and Development Cell, Career Consultancy Cell etc. are doing their activities to their utmost level. Distance education (Post Graduate Course) under Dibrugarh University is a new dimension to the collge.
