Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering is affiliated to University of Mumbai (Bombay) and approved by AICTE. The college offers Bacholor of Engineering courses. Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering is the reputed technical institute established in 1993. The institute is managed by Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Education, Science and Technological Research Trust, Nanded, under the dynamic leadership of Honorable Shri V. M. A good college for engineering

The college is a good one for engineering and provides a good platform for the students to learn and develop as an individual. The teaching faculty is good and tries to explain everything elaborately. The infrastructure and environment are also good.

Smt. Indira Gandhi College Of Engineering

The college is below expectations. It is waste of money with zero percent return on investment. Campus is unattractive and the quality of education is unsatisfactory. Cultural events/fests are not conducted properly. No placement is offered by the companies to the college students. The campus is small. Hygiene is not maintained. The college authority is arrogant and rude. Students are not given proper guidance and attention. Many teachers are uneducated. They are not able to make the students comfortable. Overall the experience was bad, the college is not recommended.

Smt. Indira Gandhi College of Engineering - Not the best decision of my life!

To cut long story small, I'll say IG is a place to be if you are financially weak. Its fees are low compared to other engineering colleges but it will cost you few things like good infrastructure, good faculty and industry exposure. It is definitely a place to be if you want to pursue your bachelor's and pursue a higher education. The college conducts technical and cultural fest annually, the college has decent junta most of whom are from the suburban area. Therefore, don't expect high-class crowd. This is definitely not a place if you want to enjoy your college life. The college offers no hostel facility for non-localities. The teaching staff is arrogant you have to be their slaves to get decent marks. Overall, I'll say if you don't have any options then go for it, but make sure you do good academically and get enough exposure to get a job because college won't provide you placement. Or have a backup plan for higher education.
