School of Petroleum Management under Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) has been set up by Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Limited (GSPC) - A Government of Gujarat Undertaking. The institute offers programmes addressing the managerial requirements of Oil & Gas sector. The course offerings pertain to Management, Economics, Supply Chain, International Geo-Political affairs, Project Management, Oil & Gas Accounting & Finance and Laws-to mention a few areas, of the Oil & Gas Sector. The flagship two-year full time residential programme leading to MBA is organized on the basis of three terms in a year. The programme is focused on energy sector with emphasis on Oil &Gas segment.

The Cohort wise Placements season 2015-16 started recently at SPM and the initial days have witnessed tremendous response from companies. Major companies in Oil & Gas/Energy Consulting, Business Consulting, Banking and Risk Advisory have made handsome offers to a large number of SPM 2014-16 students. So far-though midway of Final Placements Season- more than 97% of the students have already been placed with the average salary offered so far has already surpassing last years’ figures. My experience in School of Petroleum Management

Honestly speaking I was little confused to decide to pursue an M.B.A after having my engineering and energy sector experience. But when I came to know that there are some institutes who are offering MBA in this domain I took the chance. After having some comparative analysis I took admission in School of Petroleum Management, Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. I am overwhelmed by my experience of last 6-7 months. They are offering managerial skill development in energy domain, exactly what I wanted. Experience about the life at SPM PDPU

Being with SPM as a student is a wonderful experience till now. This year SPM introduced one more course to their curriculum called General Mangement along with Energy and Infrastructure program. To give us qualitative learning they also provide top managment school's visiting faculty. They also focus on holistic development of students by organising study clubs and industrial visits to know the reality of corporate world.
