All the classrooms of the department are well furnished with all modern facilities.

Laboratory

The university has a computer Lab with 30 PCs with LAN for computing and word processing. We also have 29 Sun micro systems exclusively for browsing purposes. The Internet services are offered free to the staff and the participants of the university. This computer lab is open 24 hours except on the public holidays on which the university is closed. school have Language Laboratories, Multimedia Digital Language, Electronic Reading Centre for students with special needs.

Library

The library has in its collection subjects like philosophy, mass media, psychology, sociology, history and feminist studies. The collection in linguistics is very strong and is regarded as the most comprehensive one not only in India but also in South Asia. The Library also has a small collection of books in Indian Languages.The Library subscribes to around 150 academic and research journals in the thrust areas of the University. There is a collection of over one thousand dissertations submitted
