The institute was originated in the year 1994. OFS is approved by DGCA. The OFS’s mission is to provide aspiring pilot trainees with a fleet of modern training aircraft and an aviation environment with industry specific courses to empower guide and assist them in fulfilling the industry standards to achieve Commercial Pilot Licences. The priorities for Orient Flight School will remain the provision of excellent opportunities for learning and teaching, world leading student support, cutting edge research in a broad range of academic disciplines. Placement
Orient Flight School provides placement assistance for meritorious students including individual counselling. Students of OFS work in close association with their instructors towards the progress in their careers and also through the Career Advisory Service. Meritorious students will be inducted as pilots in our Charter Division, when required. Over the years, the Alumni of OFS have joined various airlines and successfully pursuingOrient Flight School (OFS) has an active placement cell that continuously co-ordinates with various and organizations for placement of its students. It has already successfully placed a high percentage of students in industry. It actively obtains feedback from organization and conveys it to respective departments which, in turn, train students accordingly, thereby increasing their hit ratio. Several graduates have taken their place at different levels with reputed companies like Indian Airways, Kingfisher, Jet Airways, and Deccan Air Lines, Emirates etc. their careers.
Infrastructures
The school with its constant effort to update its resource centre equips its students with in-depth knowledge and professional piloting skills to get their careers off the ground to a flying start.

All the classrooms of the college is well furnished with all modern facilities.
Laboratory
OFS has a well furnished and fully air conditioned computer laboratory equipped with network systems hosting Microsoft Flight Simulator and software for anytime learning for various subjects.

The OFS library and resource centre is one of the finest in the entire country and has an entire range of books, encyclopedia, reference material, journalsand magazines on aviation. The training facility also offers the latest audio and video instructional aids of JEPPESEN and KING SCHOOLS,USA.
