Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024New Alipore College (NAC) preparing future leaders by imparting progressive education. College was incepted on 5th August 1963 as a Government Sponsored Co-educational Degree College. NAC has three separate departments, which are Science, Arts and commerce. All three departments impart excellent programmes, which are meticulously designed by the academic experts. New Alipore College is affiliated to University of Calcutta. The objective of the college is to provide an integral, quality education so that student can express themselves effectively and become able in making an impact in the society. The mission of the College is to impart quality education to its student. Conscious efforts are also taken to make students aware of social responsibilities.

The edifice of the college is well architect, which comprises spacious lecture halls, well equipped labs, and Hostel facilities, students counselling, recreational room, and Book bank facility for the learners.

All the classrooms of the college are well furnished with all modern facilities.
Laboratory
All labs are well equipped with latest equipment and assist students in their experiments and projects. College imparts separate laboratories for Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Anthropology, Electronics, Journalism and Geography.
Library
The library of the college is well stocked with Books, Journals and Daily News Papers for both lending and reference purposes. Students have to produce a library card to enjoy all the facilities of the Library, (which remain open from 7 AM to 8 PM) on all working days from Monday to Friday and also on Saturday from 7 AM to 2:15 PM.
