Placement

Under the CCD, NITMAS has a training & placement cell that provides required assistance to the students for facing campus interviews effectively. It is headed and manned by senior Professionals experienced in HR/ HRD related activities. The cell is assisted by “Student/Placement Coordinators” to lead the team of Placement Representatives from various courses.

Infrastructures

There are four main blocks within the campus grounds – the Administrative Block, the Scholastic Buildings, Residential Blocks the unique Ship-in-Campus. The residential section includes five student hostels and the two staff quarters. A 10,000 sqft. multipurpose hall is being planned next to the swimming pool in the campus. This hall will host events like drama, sports competitions, quiz contests, workshops, conferences, exhibitions etc.

Classroom

Equipped with digital technology and advanced communication facilities the Seminar Room at ITME hosts lectures and conferences. Renowned people from the industry and academia are invited to speak in these conventions so that students can interact with them and widen their knowledge horizons.

Laboratory

The infrastructure also includes state-of-the-art computer laboratories. The five labs of the Information Technology Department are provided with nearly 400 advanced computers that are sufficiently equipped with the latest tools and software. In addition, IT students have the privilege of availing computer facilities in several specialised sections to have a complete IT training session. The Language Laboratory at ITME is a super-specialty facility where students receive elaborate training

Library

The Institute Central Library houses a collection of nearly 25,000 national and international books, and 1795 book titles apart from journals and other reference material. The facility is large with a comfortable and peaceful reading area and an electronic catalogue for quick information retrieval and services. The campus is spread across 32 acres. Surrounding is green, clean and peaceful. Beautiful campus. Easy access to public transport. Canteen is good. Labs are well equipped. Classrooms are maintained. Sports tournament, inter-college competitions, fest, events etc are conducted on a regular basis. Many reputed companies like Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc offer placements to the students. Faculties are supportive and helpful. They organise extra classes for weak students.

The college is entirelyresidential.

The college is entirely residential. There is a residential arrangement for some of the professors, faculty lecturers, and other staff members. A medical health center is situated inside the campus. There are seven hostels: Hostel 7 - Marine Engineering Department. Hostel 6 - First year all streams(except marine and B.N.S). Hostel 4 - boys of all the streams (except for the marine engineering and B.N.S.) from 2nd year onwards Hostel 3 - Girls of all departments Apart from this many cocurricular activities and personality development events are conducted. Some of them are Winter School on Embedded Systems, Processor Architecture and System on Chip Design etc. NITMAS training and placement cell provides all the facilities related to placements, arranges for pre-placement training to prepared to students. The cell is assisted by "Student/Placement Coordinators" to lead the team of Placement Representatives from various courses. The campus is safe.
