It is the matter of pride that Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association has gained a high status for being one of the leading institutions in the state of Maharashtra. Parle Commerce College was made in June, 1960 under the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association. After the heavy donation from Shri M.l.dahanukar, an industrialist of Mumbai, the school was named after him as M.l.dahanukar College of Commerce in 1962. The College is associated to the University of Mumbai. The College has started its educational journey with an objective of imparting an education which escalates the career in the field of commerce and makes them smart & vibrant for the various challenges they will face in their career. The college believes in creating performer, winners, achievers and leaders for the various industries. College provides congenial atmosphere for the learning, which makes student holistic development. College continuously emphasis on improving its teaching methods & techniques for which faculty employs effective methods for presentation of topics, discussions and study tours.

Placement
M.L. Dahanukar College of Commerce has an active Placement cell .A Committee is constituted to foster the placement opportunity. Committee plays the role as a governing body of the placement cell. This Committee is responsible for the working process of the placement cell like providing opportunity for Part Time/ Full Time / internship jobs in reputed organization to eligible students. It is also responsible to provide training to the student. The college has a good placement record of placing their student in various industries across the world. It acts as an interface between the corporate world and students. It helps students to plan their career by providing information and guiding them about the companies which approach the College for placement.

The equipment of laboratory helps in enhancing the learning process and in enabling the proper conduct of the university prescribed courses. All the computers are branded which are installed in three computers the Labs. For internet connectivity all the computers in the Lab and the office have a dedicated lease line.
