Institute is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Coimbatore. Currently, it offers undergraduate programmes in Engineering and Technology and a postgraduate programme in management.

Placement
The Training and Placement Cell has an experienced and efficient team, dedicated towards the greater cause and works through constant interaction with the corporates to understand their current needs. Accordingly, it regularly organises a series of training programmes for students in most important areas such as Aptitude and technical know-how, Communication skills, Current affairs, Group discussion, Interview skills, Leadership qualities, Personality development, Soft skills etc. Also, in collaboration with popular universities in USA and Europe, the College shares with students the information on employment and higher educational opportunities, and offers them facilities to go abroad for receiving training and subsequently placement.
Infrastructures
The institute is well equipped with all modern facilities. The College has its own buses that ply from places such as Erode, Attur, Salem, Kannankurichi, Komaramangalam, Konganapuram, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Tharamangalam and other places. The buses ply to a radial distance of 50 km to help the students and staff to reach the College on time as well as to get dropped back at there places in the evening. Mahendra Educational Trust has around 150 buses and all these buses are used according to the need and facility of the students and the staff.

Library
The spacious Library with good ambiance has well stacked Books, Journal and Magazines. There are more than 2000 titles with 6600 volumes of Books in engineering, technology, science and management. New titles and more volumes are being periodically added. There are around 70 National and International Journals and Magazines catering to various branches of engineering, science and management.
