Private University Estd. 1952 NIRF #1 (Medical) 2024Loyola Academy Degree And P.G. College is affiliated Osmania University and approved by UGC. The collage offers Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Art, Master of Computer Application, Master of Business Administration and Master of Science course. Loyola academy (LA) is managed and administered by the members (Jesuits) of Andhra Jesuit Province, belonging to the Society of Jesus, an international catholic religious order. Loyola academy, degree and post graduate college as well as Loyola academy junior college were founded by Rev. Fr. T. Balaiah, S.J. in 1976 in Old Alwal, Secunderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India.

Placement
Loyola Academy has been a consistent topper for several years in the list of campus placement records among Private institutions in Secunderabad/Hyderabad. It is proud that its graduates are highly rated by employers from industry and commerce in the private and public sectors. In 2014 ,100 companies visit the campus and select 300 students for jobs.
Infrastructures
The campus is spread over 138 acres and includes six blocks: the Computer Block, the P.G. Block, the Agricultural Block, the Administrative block that houses the college office and the Principal's Office, and the Inigo block, inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Y. Rajashekhar Reddy on 5 September 2005. The intermediate block is at a slight distance from the other blocks and comprises over half a dozen buildings that were built in the early days.The College has built amphitheatre-style classrooms with wide aisles for students to reach their seats.All classrooms are Air-condition , and can run modern audio-visual equipment like LCD Projectors.
Laboratory
Collage supported by the following well equipped labs: Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, English Language Lab, Work Shop lab etc.
Library
The Existing Library Building Was Inaugurated On 25th January, 2002. The total area of the Library is 1234 Sq. Yrds. The maximum seating capacity is 220. The Library books are classified according to Decimal Classification Scheme. The Library was computerized by using bar code technology. O.P.A.C.
