Amazing faculty but bad management

I've been studying here for a few years now, and right off the bat, I can tell that the teaching faculty here is very good, barring a few. I've had a great experience, and would be lying if I said that I've learned nothing here. The teachers are very dedicated at what they do, and it can be said that they put the maximum effort possible at making sure that we are learning. This can be said about most of the professors and lecturers here. The faculty members for each specialization are really good at teaching what they teach, except for the cinematography specialization teaching faculty, which has earned them quite a reputation in the school. Despite being a new college, a lot of encouragement is given to the students to ensure that co-curricular and club activities are held, which helps in building a great environment in the college. The management (admin and ops dept) faculty, barring the librarian are pretty bad. Complaints about bad teachers often go unheard, there are constant classes scheduling conflicts, and there is no effort whatsoever made to ensure that all the teaching faculty are on the same page about the work given to us, which often results in overloading the students with work. A very common complaint among us students is that the attendance is almost never accurate when we check it in the final report. It always happens that some kind of miscommunication has caused even 0% attendance on the reports of even the most sincere students, and their unresponsiveness even after complaints can be annoying. Certain departments, like the animation and the advertising batch often complain that they are being given less importance, which is unfair. They try to attract students from outside the city by claiming that there is a hostel for the students. The 'hostel' is a PG run by a third party, where it isn't just students who reside, but also quite a lot of IT workers and random people reside there. Overall, I've had a very good experience as a student here, but wouldn't recommend this if there were more options for a similar degree to other people, owing to the fact that we often feel like we're ignored.

College is good if you want to pursue your career in Film and TV production

They teach more about Film Production and Business than about Management of a Media company and topic related to media or entrepreneurship and marketing. It is better to look out the jobs after degree by yourself rather than getting an offer from college placement.

unpredictable

The school has a film aura as we enter inside because it is in the studio itself. But as we enter the school everything changes. As my one and a half years has passed it's not been a good feeling about the school, because MA students are not given that much importance in terms of syllabus. Everything is rushed by the college, especially cinematography and direction department has to be improved with new HOD's and teachers.
