The University is promoted by Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation through Lakshmipat Singhania Foundation for Higher Learning as the sponsoring body. Over the last 125 years, JK Organisation has set up multiple educational and healthcare institutions in line with the needs of the society and the country from time to time.
Accreditation
- JK Lakshmipat University is recognized by Government of Rajasthan and covered under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
- The University Grants Commission has empowered the university to award degree and as per the JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur Act 2011, JKLU is complying with the approvals of the statutory bodies.
- JK Lakshmipat University has been accredited by International Accreditation Organization, Houston, USA for complying with the standards and criteria established by International Accreditation Organization in the year 2013.

Placement
The University is driven by its belief of creating industry-ready professionals who are geared to contribute productively to organizations from day one.
JKLU has established a placement office supported by a placement committee for both the institutes. These placement committee facilitate placement of the students for industrial training and final placements. JKLU witnessed 100% placements for continuous three MBA batches. i.e. 2011-13, 2012-14 & 2013-15 and Most of the students of B.Tech batch were placed in reputed organization. The average package was 4.5 lacs. The placement process of the outgoing batches of both the institutes is running successfully.
