The University is promoted by Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation through Lakshmipat Singhania Foundation for Higher Learning as the sponsoring body. Over the last 125 years, JK Organisation has set up multiple educational and healthcare institutions in line with the needs of the society and the country from time to time.

Accreditation

JK Lakshmipat University is recognized by Government of Rajasthan and covered under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956.
The University Grants Commission has empowered the university to award degree and as per the JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur Act 2011, JKLU is complying with the approvals of the statutory bodies.
JK Lakshmipat University has been accredited by International Accreditation Organization, Houston, USA for complying with the standards and criteria established by International Accreditation Organization in the year 2013.

Bachelor of Technology + Master of Business Administration	0	10+2 with at least 50% aggregate(45% for SC/ST Candidates) and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the four optional courses (Biology, Bio - technology, Chemistry, Computer Science) from a recognized Central/State Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Students appearing in the ﬁnal examination of 10+2 may also apply.	-
Master of Technology (M.Tech)	0	B.E./B.Tech. with at least 55% marks (or 6.25 CGPA in 10.0 point scale) and 50% marks (or 5.75 CGPA) in the case of SC/ST candidates from a recognized University. Foreign Nationals (FN)/Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates can be considered for admission on the basis of their marks in Bachelor's Degree inEngineering /Technology or equivalent examination/their performance in GRE (Graduate Record Examination).	-
Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.)	0	The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized board.	-
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)	0	Students should have passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% (45% for SC/ST Candidates) marks or equivalent grade. Students appearing in the ﬁnal examination of 10+2 may also apply.	-
Master of Business Administration (MBA)	0	A three-year bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised University with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent CGPA. Students appearing in the ﬁnal examination of bachelor's degree can also apply. The candidates must have appeared in CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT, CMAT or any other national level entrance test.	-
MBA (Dual Specialization)	-	A three-year bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised University with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST Candidates) or equivalent CGPA. B.Com. (Hons.) + MBA	-	Students should have passed 10+2 in any stream with 50% (45% for SC/ST Candidates) marks or equivalent grade. Students appearing in the ﬁnal examination of 10+2 may also apply.	-
B.Tech. CSE (Specialization in collaboration with IBM)	-	10+2 with at least 50% aggregate(45% for SC/ST Candidates) and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the four optional courses (Biology, Bio - technology, Chemistry, Computer Science) from a recognized Central/State Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Students appearing in the ﬁnal examination of 10+2 may also apply.	-
B.Tech CSE (Specialization in Enterprise IT in collaboration with RED-HAT)	-	10+2 with at least 50% aggregate(45% for SC/ST Candidates) and minimum 50% marks or equivalent in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the four optional courses (Biology, Bio - technology, Chemistry, Computer Science) from a recognized Central/State Board/University Examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). B.Tech. B.Tech Lateral (2nd Year)	-	The diploma holders (3-year Polytechnic programme by a recognised Institute) in any program of Engineering (offered by JK Lakshmipat University, Jaipur) with a minimum of 45% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate are eligible for lateral entry into 2nd year of B. Tech Programme.	-

Placement

The University is driven by its belief of creating industry-ready professionals who are geared to contribute productively to organizations from day one.
JKLU has established a placement office supported by a placement committee for both the institutes. These placement committee facilitate placement of the students for industrial training and final placements. JKLU witnessed 100% placements for continuous three MBA batches. i.e. 2011-13, 2012-14 & 2013-15 and Most of the students of B.Tech batch were placed in reputed organization. The average package was 4.5 lacs. The placement process of the outgoing batches of both the institutes is running successfully.
