A college with potential for excellence

Sd is considered as the top most college in TRI-CITY, got A- grade from NAAC, it is because of its infrastructure, faculty, the crowd and tons of extracurricular activities for students like theater, dance, NGO, various clubs, etc. They have a student grievances cell and anti ragging cell as well. There are a number of courses for under-graduation and post- graduation level. STAFF- very supportive and kind TEACHING AND COURSE - Great teaching and for BA they have a lot of subject options, you can choose according to your preference PLACEMENTS - There are no placements for undergraduate students or I think for any other course , but few companies come for PG students ENVIRONMENT - Quite cool environment, there is one canteen and a nestle outlet SPORTS - There are options like Tennis, badminton, fencing, etc. EVENTS- Lots of fests like virasat and every department have there own fests every year. HOSTEL - It is affordable and wardens are also good both girls and boys hostel, food is ok LIBRARY - Mostly all books are available FEE- Fee for BA one year is around 30,000 a year it varies according to the choice of subject practical subjects fee is little higher WIFI - full wifi access in campus

Nice environment but lacks exposure

In some place college is good, certain teachers are wonderful. In other areas like job opportunities, interaction, etc. College lacks these things. The amenities are good. Good focus on sports and theatre is there. But practical knowledge lacks in the courses.

This college offers courses for Commerce, Arts as well as Science Streams. The college is very reputed in the north zone and the best college for Commerce in Chandigarh. Infrastructure facilities are good. Teaching Faculty and studies are best in the town. Lots of opportunities for co-curricular activities available.
