Laboratory

The institute is well equipped with independent facilities for microbiological teaching and research. The practical work of B.Sc. and M.Sc. students is conducted in separate practical laboratories and is met with expertise. The research wing has all facilities required for pursuing research in microbiology and microbial technology. The department has a cool room, inoculation room and instrumentation laboratories equipped with Laminar flow, Lyophilizer (Labconco), Deep Freezers, Fermenter (5 L.)

Library

The institute has library having more than 200 textbooks and reference books relating to different branches of Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Instrumentation, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, etc. A few research journals, thesis, dissertations, technical report of the projects, copies of seminar’s abstract / proceedings and publications of the students of the department are also available for reference in departmental library.
