The Department of Adult, Continuing Education was established in Dr. Hari Sing Gour University, Sagar with the objective to discharge it's responsibilities to the entire educational system and the society as a whole , this objective could only be achieved by assuring extensions as a third dimension and giving it the same status as research and teaching in the University system. The University is accredited by A-Grade by UGC-NAAC.
