College of Engineering is affiliated to Anna University, CMS College of Engineering was established in the year 2007 in a typical rural area of Namakkal district. It is a coeducational self financial institution, approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Coimbatore. It is started with the aim of offering various value based courses that should match the global requirements. The college offers Bachelor of Engineering and also offers Master of Business Administration. Today the college is recognized for its special and unique teaching methodology and holistic approach towards education.

Placement
The aim of CMSCE placement cell is to impart sufficient training programmes right from the first year onwards. CMSCE believes that each student here at the campus is deserved to get a potential earning opportunity. Besides they are offered career guidance and placement activities such as resume preparation, group discussions, and public speaking, extempore and personal interviews (Role play). They are further coached aptitude, test of reasoning, verbal reasoning and logical reasoning with the able assistance from the department of science and humanities. The students of CMSCE can also avail the use of English language lab where in they can get umpteen number of information regarding placement activities which will definitely take them to prospective work places.
Infrastructures
The college is out and out air conditioned Well equipped ultra modern English language laboratory with high class software. Well equipped class rooms with centralized A/C Common IT park comprising 200 systems with internet facilities.

Digital signal processing lab with MATLAB and code composure studio Communication lab, Digital Electronic lab, Electronics lab with PSPICE software, Microprocessor lab with logic analyzer and emulator, Microwave and optical communication lab, RF lab with spectrum analyzer LIC labVLSI lab with Xilinx and Model sim.
Library
The Central Library is housed in a second floor of Main Building having an extent of 600 Sqm includes 100 nos.of seating capacity caters to the information needs of the institute faculty, students, staff members. All the Library functions are automated and provides various services through computer for the Library members. All the departments have its own Departmental Library which serves required information to the faculty and students members and also for quick reference.
