Aryans College of Engineering is affiliated to Punjab Technical University PTU, Jalandhar. Aryans College, Chandigarh

This college is 55 km away from Chandigarh in a small village called Nepra. It is 3 km away from the highway. There are no proper means of transportation to reach there. When I reached this college I found out that there were only 10 students in the ECE branch. I got into this college with a 50% scholarship, but when I attended the college I found out that every student here was lured in by giving them 50% scholarship. The faculty here is below par. The college is more focused on getting Bollywood stars in the campus than education. And when such things happen you will be taken out from classes irrespective of your choice and asked to stand outside for the welcome of these film stars. This college has 0% lab infrastructure. There is not even a single functioning lab for electronics. This college manages to get students from far off areas like Manipur and Kashmir by promising them scholarships and placements. Many Kashmiri students in this college get MHRD scholarship from the government of India. The government pays the MHRD scholarship amount to the college but the college never pays this amount back to students on time. This college charges you 2000 Rupees for reappearing in exams when in reality universities charge only 700 rupees per semester for reappearing. Don't be fooled by scholarship promises. I have seen many students leaving the college in the second and third year when they were told they had to pay the whole fee. They have named this as Aryans educational and charitable trust just to cheat the Income tax department. I don't know a single student who got placed in this college. The hostel is as horrible as this college itself. They will manage to put even 10 beds in a single room there. Since the hostel is in the middle of wheat fields, you will have to sleep with all types of flies and insects at night.
