Amrita School of Engineering (ASE), Coimbatore campus was commenced on October 27, 1994. In erstwhile ASE is known as an Amrita Institute of Technology and Science. College offers extremely well designed B.Tech. and M.Tech programmes in various disciplines. Apart from this college offers MCA degree. Ph.D. in Engineering and Sciences. The faculty of the college is dynamic and extremely talented in their respective field and distributing their knowledge and skill among the students by mentoring them for bright career. The faculty of the ASE Coimbatore have published books on various topics in Engineering. Barring of this college is also organising various national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, colloquia, contests, training programs, etc. For making learning conducive for its learner ASE imparts world class infrastructure amenities through Library, Laboratories and Sports facilities. The Schools are accredited with the highest rating of 'A' by NAAC, the National Accreditation and Assessment Council of India. They are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The watchword of the ASE is to become the first choice of every student in the country by imparting value based curriculum, teaching-learning, infrastructure and research for the learners.

Placement

College has an excellent placement record from the past many years. The placement cell is managed by one group of experts with Head-Placement at the top, with support from Placement Managers positioned at other campuses. The placement team of the college strives very hard for providing placement to engineering, arts & sciences and allied courses students. The placement teams imparts summer internship and final placement for its students also placement cell emphasis on improving the quality of placement in terms of job opportunities, companies of relevance that visit the campus and the highest and average salaries.

Amrita School of Engineering (ASE), Coimbatore Campus College provides well furnished and trendy classrooms. All classrooms provides a special learning environment, a touch screen white board is integrated with the LCD projector and a computer.

Laboratory

Regarding college atmosphere, students, placements, rules and regulations

The Campus environment is too good and also the faculty. But we need to adjust in case of hostel food. Hostel rooms are good. Rules are very strict such as, for a small mistake also we need to pay fines and get suspended. Management power is high rather than student power. But finally for studies purpose it is a good one. Coming to the placements computer science students get them more.

Scenic campus, well maintained.

The campus is good. Academics are fine. Huge place, 300 acres. Grassed fields, awesome swimming pool, gyms are okay. The food is okay. We are nagged by a system called CMS where a student has to apply for a gate pass to leave the campus and has to return within the specified time. The rules are strict but bearable.

I am doing my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from this college. Amrita School of Engineering (ASE) has professional researchers and well-trained faculty members whose teachings always facilitate the students to sprout out with the innovative ideas and transforming minds. The classes follow a 5-day week schedule and commence at 8 am till 3:30 pm. There are a number of clubs and activities that students can actively participate in.

What a fantastic college life I had!

All students will have a wonderful college life here. I had such a wonderful 4 years of education with a lot of fun here. I had the best education and the best placements. The college location was really wonderful and pleasing. It was right below the mountains and the natural ambiance was awesome.
