Amrita School of Biotechnology offers Bachelors of Science Masters of Science and Ph.D courses. Affiliated to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and approved by NAAC, the institute has launched many new projects of national importance and scientific relevance.

Students appearing for the final examinations of Bachelor’s degree can also apply and would be eligible for provisional admission. Selection will be based on Amrita Entrance Test and personal interview. | - |

| Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology | - | Full Time: Master’s Degree in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemistry or any branch of Biological Sciences with at least 60% marks. Candidates who qualified UGC/CSIR, JRF or GATE can appear directly for the interview while others must appear for a written test which will be conducted in the last week of June every year. These candidates will be called for the interview on the basis of their performance in the written test and their qualifying examination. Part Time: Every year a few seats are kept for promising faculty members of Amrita Institutions and various other universities for the Ph.D programme. They have to appear for a written test and interview and they will be offered admission based on the merit list. | - |
