Apart from the placement facility, students go on industrial tours, attend personality development programmes (PDP) and participate in placement related activities like extempore, mock interviews, technical tests, aptitude tests and other latest trends etc.

Choosing right college to make a good career

The college provides all the facilities and they are satisfactory. The college organises many conferences and seminars. The faculty is good. They are knowledgeable and experienced. They are supportive and not biased at all.

Naval Architecture Department

AMET University is one of the top ten universities in India. Apart from the Naval Architecture course, more value is given to courses of Marine Engineering and Nautical Science. The campus is not bad and the faculty members are good in teaching.

Review about the whole experience at AMET University

The college life at AMET University is a life which very few get to experience! It wasn't a class but instead, a voyage where we learned the basics of life which are disciplines, loyalty, and education. We received punishments for our wrong doings, rewards for our achievements, and a vision to see the world. Morning PT, parades, evening musters, teamwork was inculcated in our souls to quench out our qualities. The most valuable thing I received was an unmatched experience of my captains who in fact worked harder than the cadets. Overall it was a short journey which taught us a lot. From tip to toe, from looks to character, from thoughts to dreams, everything was enhanced to their highest levels with the help of our captains and faculties. I pay my tribute to all of them to share such valuable part of their life with us and encourage us to succeed. And because of their constant efforts, today many of the officers are sailing ships worldwide with confidence.

AMET University: No lab facilities or faculty with knowledge

AMET is the best college for doing Marine Engineering courses but as far as Petroleum Engineering, it lacks everything. There are no proper working lab facilities or knowledgeable faculty members and there is no placement opportunity for Petroleum department. Even the placement department, the head of the department and the management doesn't care about it. As far as the college environment, the campus is neat and clean with all basic facilities.

Poor placemen, food, hostel and management

AMET university the so called deemed university is the world's worst university. The freshers are requested not to join AMETfor any course. Go to Samudra Manet Tolani but never AMET. The teachers are good but management is the worst. no placement no good food, no proper hostel, you will die here. They spoil students life. The campus is well-built but what is the use of it. The hostels do not provide hygienic food. Placements are bad, need improvement.
