All India Institute of Local Self-Government was incepted in the year 1926 to propagate & encourage the activities of research and training in municipal administration. Institute has a huge name in various states through its regional offices and peripatetic as well as permanent centers. All India Institute of Local Self-Government is recognized by Educational Institution by Government of Maharashtra. In the period of 96 years, institute is highly developed both in terms of spheres of work services or opening of branches to cover many states in the country. Presently institute has 30+ branches in all across the country. Institute imparts unique and value based diploma, degree and postgraduate training programs for the staff and elected members of local bodies in India and from South Africa, India and other SAARC countries.

Infrastructures
All centres of the All India Institute of Local Self-Government (AIILSG) are well furnished and equipped with all the necessary infrastructure amenities. All centres has spacious classrooms, rich library, auditorium, seminar halls,conference rooms, cafeteria, lecture halls and transportation facilities.

Institute has trendy classrooms which are fully air conditioned and packed with modern facilities like black boards, OHP, LCD, podium, tables and chairs. The classrooms facilities make academics’ conducive for students.

Library
The library of the college is a warehouse of knowledge imparts quality education and hones intellectual skills of the students. The library of the college was commenced in the year 1926 for shaping leader.
