Curriculum as per ABET, USA

Our curriculum is designed to make our students, Innoventive Engineers and is based on the international benchmark provided by Accreditation Board of Engineering & Technology (ABET), USA.

Innoventive Engineering

Innoventive engineering is a radical new approach to engineering education that is grounded in engineering design powered by design thinking, focusses on identifying and solving real – world problems for real people and aspires to produce entrepreneurs and innovators. It is a trademarked approach of ADYPU.

CDIO Teaching Methodology

An Innoventive curriculum needs a similarly powerful delivery mechanism. The curriculum is delivered on the basis of recommendations of CDIO (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate) developed by the coalition of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Chalmers University of Technology, Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Linköping University (LiU).

Real World Experience

Students get real-world experience in the classroom through a major multidisciplinary team project right from the first year. This three-year project moves along with subject knowledge and skills acquired by the students in successive years and leads to a major achievement by the end of the third year.

Internships

ADYPU offers internships from second year onwards. The internship period ranges from 2 months to 4 months. This facilitates our students to get 6 to 8 months of industry experience by the time they graduate. This is immensely useful in getting a placement.

Bachelor of Technology (Biomedical Engineering)	-	Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to the reserved category and a person with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects. UNI-GUAGE online Examination conducted by the Association of Private University. Ajeenkya DY Patil University would also consider the AIEEE, BITSAT, ENAT, VITEEE, JEE Main, CET conducted by respective state governments. The candidate applying for the course has to get the minimum cut off score as decided by Ajeenkya DY Patil University. OR Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backwards class categories and person with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) OR Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined bt UGC and obtained at least50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backwards class categories and person with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) Obtained score in CET or JEE Main Paper I.	-

Placement

Ajeenkay DY Patil University prepares students to be employment-ready when they complete their respective program. It's dedicated placement unit provides career support to all students. The placement unit helps the students not only in finding a job but advise the students individually about resumes, portfolios, interviews and other job-search strategies. The purpose of the placement unit is further served by our numerous links with cutting-edge businesses and organisations and strong linkages within the industry. ADYPU holds memberships of many different industry associations and is very actively involved with some of them.

Infrastructures

The institute is set up in a sprawling campus of 130 acres, with a very scenic surrounding. The infrastructure is one of the best in the vicinity. They have well-designed classrooms, an Auditorium, Swimming pool, Tennis Courts, basketball court, wide roads within the campus and State of the art Architecture.
