Adesh Institute of Engineering and Technology (AIET) Faridkot, was established in 1996 with aim of providing high quality education in Engineering and Technology with a close interaction with industry. This institute has grown steadily in size and activities during the last decade of its existence. It has trained Over 1500 engineers. Institute offers B.Tech. (4 year full time courses) in Electronics and Communication Engg. (120 seats), Computer Science Engineering (120 seats), Electrical Engineering (30 seats), Information Technology (60 seats) , Civil Engineering (60 seats) and B.Tech. in Bio-Medical Engg. (with 30 seats). It also offers B.Sc. (3 year course) in Bio- Technology (60 seats). During 2008-09, three new P.G. Courses in M-Tech ECE (18 Seats), M-Tech EE (18 Seats) and M.B.A. (60 Seats) were introduced. During 2009-10, two additional M.Tech courses in CSE (18 Seats) and IT (18 Seats) have been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and Punjab Technical University (PTU) Jalandhar. AIET Faridkot is affiliated to Punjab Technical University(PTU), Jalandhar. It is recognized by the Govt. of Punjab and all courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi.

Placement
AIET has a Training & Placement cell to provide training to the AIET students and employment opportunities in leading organizations. Most of the reputed organizations including MNCs are coming to the institute for campus placements. To achieve its goal, the training & placement cell works towards recognizing the core competencies of students. It also organizes technical talks and seminars to provide a platform for budding engineers to interact with professionals from various reputed industries and also arranges visits to industries for students.
Infrastructures
The institute is well equipped with all modern facility. Institute has a well equipped medical center to provide first aid medical care around the clock. This facility is supported by Adesh Medical College, Bhatinda.
Laboratory
All labs are well equipped with latest equipments.
Library
Institute has well stocked air-conditioned library along with reading room, having more than 20,000 books on sciences and engineering and is subscribing more than 50 national / international journals. It provides the facility of DELNET for students and faculty to borrows books, journals, magazines, conference proceedings and IEEE standards. Institute library has also subscription facility to e-journal INDEST-AICTE consortium.
