The XLRI (Xavier School of Management), Jamshedpur has attained 100 per cent placement for its current outgoing batch of 2013-15. This was the largest batch to ever sit for final placements in the history of XLRI, according to an XLRI release.
The final recruitment process witnessed participation from approximately 108 candidates, inclusive of 45 new recruiters, and 321 offers were made for a batch of 300 students over a period of 3.5 days, the press release said.
The median salary offered to the batch is Rs 17 lakh per annum while the minimum is Rs 12 lakh per annum, the release said.
The BFSI and consulting firms recruited in humongous numbers with around 40 per cent of the Business Management students being offered roles in the Finance and Consulting sector.
