Workshop on ‘Building Gender Sensitivity in Universities’ at BPS Mahila Vishwavidyalaya

Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya organized three days’ workshop on ‘Building Gender Sensitivity in Universities’ during October 10 to October 12, 2013.

This workshop was for non teaching and teaching employees of the university. This three days workshop was aimed to build gender sensitivity among all stakeholders of university system. The inaugural function of this workshop held on October 10, 2013 at 10 am in the conference room, ground floor, teaching block I.

Dr (Mrs.) B.K. Maini, former Director, National Board of Examinations had consented as the Chief Guest in the inaugural function. Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Pankaj Mittal presided over the session.

Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya is the first women State university of Northern India established by the Government of Haryana in August 2006 at Village Khanpur Kalan, District Sonipat. The University is mandated to provide affordable qualitative higher education to women especially belonging to rural areas.
