UPSEE 2017 Counselling- Check details

The Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam University (AKTU) Lucknow has started its UPSEE 2022 Counselling from 19^th June 2022 onwards. The 2022 UPSEE is conducted all over the state to provide admission to the undergraduate courses in B.Tech/B. Registrations for UPSEE counselling  2022 are open for the candidates who wish to seek admission to these courses. The document verification will be done online this time as per AKTU’s instruction. While registering, candidates should upload the documents in max 200KB as size. All the OBC candidates are supposed to get their documents on the caste and category did after 1^st of April.

The candidates who have qualified the UPSEE 2022, they can apply and attend the Counselling session of UPSEE. The candidates are to fill and upload scanned copies of their documents for the further completion of the registration of UPSEE Counselling 2022. Registration for the UPSEE 2022 admission is done completely online so as the payment of the fee. Once the candidates are allotted seat, if he/she wants to take up the admission can make the payment.

The UPSEE Counselling 2022 and the admission will have five phases. The Spot counselling will be only for the government colleges. Those non-UP candidates who have qualified the exam from outside UP on the basis of UPSEE 2022 merit can apply for 10% seats in private institutions affiliated to AKTU. The only criteria to get admission in such institutes are that candidate should fulfill the requirements of the institution in which he/she is going to take up admission. If there are seats vacant even after JEE 2022 Counselling, it will be allotted on the basis of their JEE Main 2022 scores or their performance in class 12.

Seats to all Govt /Govt Aided/Govt Self-Financed institutes will be filled through UPSEE 2022 qualified candidates. On the other hand, 85% of the seats in private colleges will also be filled by the UPSEE 2022 qualified candidates.

The candidate should register online with their ‘UPSEE 2022 Application Number’ and ‘Password’

Payment of counselling fee UPSEE Counselling 2022:

Candidates are supposed to pay the counselling fee while registering. The fee structure for General/OBC candidate is INR 20,000 and for SC/ST candidates, it is INR 12,000 for UPSEE 2022 Counselling. Fee payment should be made online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking

Required documents for uploading UPSEE COUNSELLING 2022:

Here is the list of documents needed for uploading in order to complete the registering formalities. The size of each document should be of/below 200KB. OBC candidates are supposed to get their caste certificate made after 1^st of April 2022.

1.    UPSEE Admit Card 2022

2.    UPSEE Rank Card 2022

3.    Class 12 Certificate and mark sheet

4.    Rural weightage certificate if applicable

5.    Domicile certificate

6.    If the candidate has passed qualifying examination from outside of U.P then Domicile certificate of his/her parents (father or mother)

7.    Character certificate

8.    Certificate of Medical Fitness/Undertaking of Medical Fitness

9.    Domicile certificate, if applicable.

10. Category certificate for OBC/SC/ST, if applicable

11. Subcategory certificate for Freedom Fighters/Armed Forces/Physically handicapped as  applicable

12. Income certificate for economically weak candidates

13. GDDA category certificate, if applicable

14. Other Documents required (only if applicable)

Once the candidate is done with the uploading of all the required documents, an OTP password will be sent to them to verify the document and further leads to fill the choices.

UPSEE  Counselling 2022 Choice Filling:

A candidate can fill as many choices as he/she wants.  By making multiple choices/preferences in various institutes gives satisfaction and assurance that he/she didn’t miss any chance of admission during UPSEE 2022 Counselling. Candidate should save whatever choices that he/she has made before logging out. Before locking them, the UPSEE 2022 is also giving the aspirants the option to add, modify, delete. Candidates can also contact the officials if they are doubtful about the choice filling and other procedures regarding the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination 2022.

UPSEE Counselling Seat Allotment 2022:

Seat allotment is completely based on the UPSEE 2022 merit rank of the candidate, preference of the institute or college, availability of the seats and their choices of the stream. Preference is made by the marks obtained by the candidate so the candidate who secured high marks will be preferred for the admission. Once the seat allotment is commenced, provisional allotment letters will be available in their respective UPSEE 2022 profile. They can download it and further do the payment of the admission fee.

UPSEE Counselling 2022 Confirmation of seats:

The candidate should confirm the allotted seat online by paying the first installment fee of INR 15000. A receipt will be generated after the fee payment which can be downloaded and printed to be shown in the respective college while reporting to the college. The payment should be done in the permitted time. If any issues persist regarding fee payment, the candidate can contact the help desk of UPSEE 2022.  The candidates who fail to confirm their seats will forfeit the same. If a candidate who needs to upgrade college/institute is advised to do so at the time of confirming the seats. No changes regarding college/institute/courses can be done after the payment.

The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination 2022 counselling will be held in 5 phases. Spot admission is done only to govt colleges/institutes.
