UPSEE 2017: Know All About the Exam

UPSEE 2022 is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Uttar Pradesh every year for admission in various disciplines of engineering and other professional programmes.

UPSEE scores are accepted for admission in a number of colleges (both Government and Private) that participate in this entrance exam for the following programmes-

• B.Tech
• B.Pharm
• B.Arch
• BHMCT
• BFAD
• BFA
• MBA
• MCA
• MAM (Dual- degree programme)

UPSEE 2022 Application

The application process for UPSEE 2022 will start from January 15. Interested candidates can fill the online application for the same. The application form will be available on the website of UPSEE 2022. The official notification for UPSEE 2022 is yet to be released by AKTU.

All the information has to be filled duly in the online form. Also, scanned copies of the photograph, signature and thumb impression have to be uploaded. The confirmation page procured at the completion of the application form has to be kept for future use.The application fee is INR 1000 for males/transgender/general/OBC and INR 500 for females/PH/SC/ST candidates. The payment of the application fee can be done through Credit/Debit Card/Netbanking.

Applicants can fill their forms online on www.upsee.nic.in till 5pm on March 24.

No hard/soft copy of any document should be sent to the. APJ Abdul Kalam University at any stage.

UPSEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

1st Year B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm/ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA:

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 in Science (B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Pharm) or any discipline (BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA) from UP Board or any recognized board
• Minimum marks required is 45% for all courses (40% for SC/ST candidates)  but the minimum marks required for B.Arch is 50%
• Candidates eligible for B.Tech are also eligible for B.Arch

1st Year MBA/MCA/MAM:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised board (45% for SC/St candidates); Maths at 10+2 and graduation level is compulsory for MCA
• For MAM, candidates should have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates)

UPSEE 2022 Exam Centres and Exam Pattern

The UPSEE examination will be conducted both online and offline. The exam centres for both types of exams are different.

UPSEE 2022 Test centres for OMR Based Test ( For Paper 1 to Paper 4)

UPSEE 2022 Test Centres for Computer Based Test (For Paper 5 to Paper 12)

• The UPSEE Exam is divided into 12 Papers, each for a different programme. Students have to select the specific paper that  they wish to appear for at the time of the registration process itself
• Out of these 12 papers- Paper 1, Paper 2, Paper 3 and Paper 4 will be OMR based test only and Paper 5 to Paper 12 will be computer based only
• There will be no negative marking
• Timing for each paper is different

UPSEE 2022 Important Dates

The registration process for UPSEE 2022 will tentatively start in the second half of February 2022.

The UPSEE Exam covers different papers and the syllabus is different for all depending on the subjects included in that paper.

UPSEE 2022 Admit Card

The admit card for UPSEE 2022 will be available for download from April 7, 2022. Candidates need to carry this admit card to their exam centre, without it, they will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting http://upsee.nic.in/. Check all the details in the admit card before downloading it. In the case of any problem, contact the UPSEE 2022 helpdesk immediately.

UPSEE 2022 Results

The result for UPSEE 2022 will be declared with the answer keys in the month of May 2022. Students can obtain their score cards by following these steps:

• Visit the official website of UPSEE 2022
• Click on the Results tab
• Login with your username and password
• Print your results and keep an extra copy for any future use

The scorecards of each individual with the total marks secured by the candidate along with his/her merit list rank. It will be important to carry this score card at the time of the counselling process.

UPSEE 2022 Counselling

The counselling for UPSEE 2022 is expected to start in the month of May 2022 after the declaration of results in the same month. The counselling process is divided into two phases-

In the First Phase: Students need to register themselves for counselling through the official website of UPSEE 2022. After registration, a registration fee of INR 20000 for general and OBC candidates and INR 12000 for SC/ST candidates has to be submitted online (this registration fee will be adjusted in the tuition fee afterwards). Once the registration process is complete, candidates need to lock their choices and block their seats.

In the Second Phase: The next step is document verification for which candidates need to visit their nearest verification centre.
The schedule for both the phases of counselling will be released by AKTU on the official website.
