UPSC SCRA 2022 Important Dates – Every year, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the recruitment examination for the post of Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) on behalf of Indian Railways across the country. It is a national level examination that enables selected students to undertake an apprenticeship of four years. SCRA candidates, who complete their apprenticeships, are absorbed as Class I officers in Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (ISME). Lakhs of students appear for this UPSC SCRA exam every year making it one of the extremely popular exams in India.

Candidates interested to apply for UPSC SCRA 2022 examination should be between 17 years to 21 years of age and should have cleared intermediate examination with first or second division. They should have also studied Mathematics, Physics/ Chemistry as subjects.
