University of Calcutta opens LL.M admissions for 2013-2015 batch

University of Calcutta invites applications for their 2-year Master of Law (LL.M) programme for 2013-2015 batches. Students interested in LLM programme are welcome to apply.

The LLM degree course is being offered by Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri Law College, Kolkata under University of Calcutta.50% seats in the 1^st year are already reserved for B.A LLB (Hons.) graduates of University of Calcutta.

Application forms will be available on all working days between 9 am to 2 pm from August 26, 2013 in Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri Law College

Eligibility Criteria:

• Students who have passed B.A LL.B (Hons.)/B.A LL.B/LLB (Hons.)/LLB with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university are eligible for LLM programme.
• Students who are appearing in the final year examination in 2013 also eligible to apply.

Selection Procedure:

Aspirants will be selected through a written test for 100 marks based on the syllabus of B.A LLB of University of Calcutta.

Application procedure to LLM courses in University of Calcutta:

• Application forms can be downloaded from the official website of Jogesh Chandra Chaudhuri Law College
• Aspirants can get application forms at the College Office by paying Rs. 400/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST) which is not refundable.

Important Dates:

• The deadline date for the submission of forms is on September 20, 2013
• Written test will be held on September 22, 2013 in the college
