University of Jammu, Jammu - Admission Notification for B.Ed in Non- Government Colleges

University of Jammu is inviting applications for B.Ed Course. Online registrations have started for Bachelor of Education (B.ED) in non – Government colleges affiliated to University of Jammu, Jammu. Last date for registration online is September 9, 2012.

Eligibility Criteria

For General Category Students

Admission to the B.Ed. course in the Non-Government Colleges of Education shall be open to those candidates who have passed Bachelor's Degree Examination in the faculties of Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce and Management (under 10+2+3 or 10+2+2/10+1+3 pattern), Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Forestry and Music and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or any other statutory University in India registered with the Association of Indian Universities and have secured at least 45% of the aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

For Others Category Students

For disadvantaged sections like SC/ST/ Other Backward Classes (O.B.C.)/ Area Adjoining Actual Line of Control (A.L.C.) /Resident of Backward Area (R.B.A.)/Disabled candidates, the eligibility will be 40% in the qualifying examination.

However, one sitting B.A. Degree (External Examination) conducted by any University in the country is not recognised by this University for the purpose of admission to the B.Ed course.
