Technorazz’ 2013: Annual Mega Fest of Jaipur National University

Jaipur National University’s mega fest Technorazz’ 2013 concluded on October 1, 2013 with sizzling performances of the young singing sensation of Indian Idol-season-4 fame-Parashar Joshi and of MTV show “Rock On” fame rock star Ms. Abhinanda Sarkar followed by the performances of the winning teams of songs, dance and fashion show competitions.

In his valedictory address JNU Chancellor, Mr. Sandeep Bakshi underlined the importance of organizing such student-centric events. He said the Technorazz is an Academic-cum-Cultural annual fest which creates, nurtures and shapes talents and the dreams of the youth at JNU. It provides a vibrant platform to the students to express their innovative and culture, may it be Advertising, Quizzing, Debating, Drama, Theatre, Singing and Fashion show on the one hand, and Chatpati making, Flower decoration, Robo-race, Hardware, Technical paper and live presentations on the other.

The Chancellor, Mr. Sandeep Bakshi and the celebrity guests- Prashar Joshi and Abhinanda Sarkar gave away the prizes to the winning teams of Inter-college/Inter-University competitions of Fashion Show, Group Dance, Solo song and Band competitions.

During this three days mega event fest, a strong crowd of 3000 students including 400 students from other colleges and universities took part in 30 difference events. Some of the events which drew overwhelming response from the participants were-Live Presentations, Debate Competitions, Quiz Ad Mania, Robotics, Poster Presentation, Robo-race, LAN Gaming, Hardware presentation, C-Bugging, Chapati making, Cake making, Flower decoration etc. on the one hand and Band, Solo Song, Group Dance and Fashion Show competitions on the other.

Nukkar Nataks each day before the start of the main cultural event in the evening had added the additional flavour to Technorazz’ 2013.

This annual gala fest ended with DJ war competition among DJs. Students danced with lot of zest enthusiasm to the DJ music.
