SSC CGL Exam 2013 postponed to April 28, 2013

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC)'s Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination 2013, which was scheduled for April 14, has been postponed to April 28.

The examination has been rescheduled on account of Dr B.R. Ambedkar's birthday on April 14.

Now that the schedule has been changed, the candidates can download their revised admission cards from the official website of SSC-www.ssc.nic.in.

It can be downloaded from the SSC's concerned regional offices on or after April 21, 2013.

An official notification on the SSC's website says, "The Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2013 is scheduled to be held on 14th April, 2013 and 21st April, 2013. As 14th April, 2013 has been declared as closed holiday on account of the Birthday of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the examination scheduled on 14.04.2013 has been postponed and will now be held on 28.04.2013. Revised Admission Certificates may be downloaded from the website of the concerned Regional Offices of Staff Selection Commission on or after 21st April, 2013."

The SSC conducts CGL exam every year for the recruitment to various posts. The examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below:

Tier -I: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)

Tier -II: Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)

Tier -III: Personality Test cum Interview/Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification & Descriptive/on-line test of qualifying nature.
