SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2022 - SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam is conducted by the SRM University every year for admissions to various undergraduate engineering courses offered at its four campuses. The university has released the eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE 2022. SRMJEEE 2022 will be conducted in the month of April 2022. Application forms will be issued in the month of October 2022. SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2022

Aspirants who wish to apply for SRMJEEE 2022 must go the eligibility criterion and fill the form accordingly.

Age Limit

For UG courses, candidates should be born between 1 July 1997 and 1 July 2002 whereas PG courses, candidates should be born between 1 July 1993 and 1 July 1998

Nationality

To apply for SRMJEEE Exam 2022, candidates should be either a resident of India or a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) or he/she possesses a PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible.

NRIs candidates and PIO or OCI card holder have to apply through the separate registration portal as International candidates.

Educational Qualification-

Faculty of Engineering and Technology

Candidates who have passed the Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern) or appearing in in the same in 2022 with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics / Botany & Zoology/ Biology / Biotechnology as main subjects from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS are eligible to apply.

Candidates who possess International Baccalaureate (IB) with Diploma, or A-level with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics / Botany & Zoology/ Biology / Biotechnology as main subjects in any International schools within India.

In addition to the above the candidate must satisfy the campus-specific and programe-specific eligibility criteria

Candidates who have studied Biology as one of the subjects in 11th and 12th are eligible for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering courses only.

Candidates who have qualified 10th as well as 12th in NIOS are ineligible for admission to any courses of SRM University.

Course-Specific & Campus-Specific Minimum Eligibility

Note- Candidates who have passed the above qualifying examination in not more than 2 attempts including appearance for improvement will be considered for admission.

To encourage and support students of exemplary talent, SRM University offers direct admission and scholarships to first rank students of all the central and state boards in India, top 1000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu and exemplary sports persons at National and International level.

The candidate must assure that they fulfil the eligibility criterion of SRMJEEE 2022 before applying for the exam. The application forms can be submitted online as well as offline. Those candidates who are sending the application form via post must make sure that it reached the Admission office before the last date, after which no applications will be accepted.
