Sri Ramachandra University 2012 Admission Notification for MBBS and BDS Courses

Established in 1985, Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai offers MBBS and BDS courses to students. Sri Ramachandra University was declared under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 and is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. The University runs numerous medical colleges called Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute offering MBBS course and Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital offering BDS course. Other institutes under the Sri Ramachandra University include Sri Ramachandra College of Pharmacy, Sri Ramachandra College of Nursing, Sri Ramachandra College of Physiotherapy, Sri Ramachandra College of Management, Sri Ramachandra College of Biomedical Science, Technology & Research and Sri Ramachandra College of Allied Health Sciences.

The university has announced its admission open for Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute and Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital for the academic year of 2012 – 2013.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for MBBS at Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute 2012
 

• Higher Secondary (H.S.C) +2 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/ Biotechnology with marks as prescribed by the MCI
• Students appearing for HSC 2012 or equivalent can also apply
• The student should belong to an Indian state or Union Territory only

• Higher Secondary (H.S.C) +2 or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) with marks as prescribed by the DCI
• Students appearing for HSC 2012 or equivalent can also apply
• The student should belong to an Indian state or Union Territory only

Note: Selection will be made on merit on the basis of the score in the entrance test conducted by the university on all India basis.

Application Procedure for MBBS and BDS in Sri Ramachandra University 2012

• Download forms from the official website of Sri Ramachandra University and submit it with a Demand Draft of Rs. 500
• Send the application forms by post from the Registrar with a Demand Draft of Rs. 600
• Self submission at the campus by paying Rs. 500 at the University office

The Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of ‘Sri Ramachandra University’ payable at Chennai.
