SIU SET 2015: Crucial dates and events

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for admissions into undergraduate Institutes of Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune.

Symbiosis International University has announced the exam date for SET 2015, which will be conducted on May 2, 2015. Aspirants seeking admissions in SIU, Pune need to qualify in SIU SET 2015. Qualified candidates can secure admissions into programmes such as Engineering, Law, Design, Media & Communication, Management, Computer Studies, Health Sciences, Economics, and Liberal Arts.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Applicants having completed their 10+2 in any discipline from any recognized board/Council/University with minimum qualifying marks required by the institute.
• Candidates expecting their 12th results may also apply but the admission would be provisional and subject to furnishing proof.
• Failure to furnish proof shall render their admission null and void.

Application Procedure:

• Register online on www.set-test.org and generate your own SET ID. Aspirants may register for one paper in the morning; viz, Law or Design and one paper in the afternoon; viz, General or Engineering or Health Sciences. Candidates are also required to upload their recent passport sized photograph at the time of online registration.

• Pay non-refundable fee of Rs. 1500/- for test fee and prospectus for under graduate programmes at Symbiosis International University. SIU's admission cell will courier you a copy of the prospectus to the corresponding address.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates need to note that appearing and qualifying for SET 2015 is the first step. Thereafter, candidates are required to apply individually to the concerned Symbiosis Institute and follow their own selection criteria.
