All First Year Students of Birsa Institute of Technology are informed that ‘Prakash Foundation’ an NGO is providing scholarship to economically weak students.
Criteria to apply:
- Must be a First Year Undergraduate Student.
- Total Annual Family Income must be less 1.5 Lacs.
- Must carry a valid Income Certificate.
Form is available on the official website of Prayaas India,
www.prayaasindia.org and only valid if received before March 15, 2014.
This is remarkable that Prakash Foundation is coming forward to help these students. In India there are enormous talents but due to in sufficient scopes they are unrevealed. Financially poor parents are unable to get their children educated because of their poor economic condition and utilize them as their source of income. They work in site of a factory, restaurants, hotels and road construction or as household servants and thus take care of their dependants. They earn to serve their parents or their siblings, despite of going or continuing their studies.
This type of scholarship programme definitely helps those students who are willing to continue their studies and dream for a bright future.
