Satya Manthan: A helping hand towards the people in need

A new group named Satya Manthan has been formed by students of commerce faculty, Banaras Hindu University. It has been made for doing social help to needy people.

Till date it has provided books and notebooks to children of a village named Kashi Pura and allotted 2 teachers to teach the children. Teachers are being paid by students itself.

The entire funding is collected by students itself from their savings. The second initiative is that the students went to an old age home which is looked after by Mother Teresa Foundation. Students spent time with the people who were mentally retarded. They also entertained them by singing songs and dancing.

This group has really proven itself as helping hand to the section which is in great need.
