Satrang-2014: Sport festival at Ganpat University

Satrang 2014, annual sport fest at Ganpat University will be organized from February 3-8, 2014. This time University is presenting Bollywood & Sports Celebrities at Inaugural Ceremony of FPU Sports Festival and 5th Youth Festival on February 4 at 10.00 am, Open Air Theatre, Ganpat University.

Eligibility and entry regulations:-

• The Students enrolled in Private University of Gujarat shall only be eligible for participation in FPU Sports Tournament

• All Universities were requested to send as early as possible but not later than December 31, 2013 duly filled Team Registration Form (Annexure 1) With Registration Fees.

• Eligibility Form (Annexure 2) duly supported with relevant documents may be forwarded at the earliest possible or submitted at the time of registration.

• The students shall carry their identity cards issued by their University/College. The team managers shall submit valid identity cards of participants for verification at the time of registration.

• The eligibility form (Annexure 2) must be duly signed by the Director/Registrar of the University and counter signed by the Sports Director/Sports in charge.

• Each Participating University will submit single entry for male & female.

• Football & Cricket events are only for male entry.

Registration Fees:-

Registration and entry fees per event per team: Rs 1000/-. Registration fees will only be accepted through demand draft/ At par Cheque in favor of GANPAT University, payable at Mehsana.

Accommodation:-

Free Accommodation will be provided by the Ganpat University.

Food Facility:-

The charge per person per day is Rs. 100/- including Breakfast, Lunch, Tea & Dinner. The food charge can be paid at time of Campus arrival Registration.

General Rules

• Tournament shall be conducted As per AIU Rules

• The Tournaments shall be played on a knock out basis

CRICKET:-

Matches shall be played according to the I.C.C. Rules as adapted from time to Time from the Cricket Control Board in India unless otherwise modified in these Rules.

All matches are conducted as follows:

(a) Up to all matches 20 Limited over which be completed by each side
