RITES Recruitment through GATE 2022/2022 Score - RITES was formerly known as Rail India Technical and Economic Service. It is a Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India. RITES was established in 1974 and its initial charter was to provide consultancy services in rail transport in India as well as abroad. Number of Vacancies for RITES Recruitment through GATE 2022:

RITES is yet to announce the number of vacancies for the post of graduate engineer trainees for 2022.

Eligibility Criteria for RITES Recruitment through GATE 2022:

Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical):

Candidates applying for this vacancy need to hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) or equivalent from a recognised university.

Graduate Engineer Trainee (Civil):

Candidates applying for this vacancy need to hold a BE/B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) or equivalent from a recognised university.

Age Limit for RITES Recruitment through GATE 2022:

The upper age limit for RITES recruitment through GATE 2022 is 30 years while minimum age is 21 years. Cut-off date for calculation will be 1st March 2022. RITES regular employees shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5 years in the age limit. Candidates with Ex-Servicemen quota and those belonging to the reserved categories also receive age relaxation as per Government guidelines.

Valid GATE Score for RITES Recruitment through GATE 2022:

The score of the candidates in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 will be a determining factor in the selection. The graduate engineers who are interested in taking up a career in RITES need to appear for GATE 2022 in the relevant disciplines.

On the basis of the GATE score, candidates will then be qualified for the next selection rounds consisting of a group discussion and a personal interview to assess a candidates’ understanding of different facets, skills and attitude. Candidates have to first successfully pass the GATE 2022 examination and after that the GD and PI to make it to the selection. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of GATE score, GD and PI scores, and will as per each discipline.

Final merit list shall be prepared as per following weight-age distribution:

• GATE Score - 85%
• Group Discussion - 3%
• Interview - 12%

Application Process for RITES Recruitment through GATE 2022:

• Before applying candidates should ensure that they satisfy all the necessary conditions and requirements of the post.
• Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are required to apply online in the registration format available in the Career Section of RITES website (http://www.rites.com).
• While submitting the online application, the system would generate a ‘Registration No.’ on the top of the filled up online form. Please note down this ‘Registration No.’ and quote it for all further communication with RITES Ltd.
• After filling up the required details under the ‘Fill/ Modify Application Form’, click on ‘GATE Details’ tab and enter the required details pertaining to GATE 2022.
• Click on the ‘Make payment’ tab. The payment details show the amount to be paid to the bank based on your category.
• Click on ‘Generate Slip.’ The Application Fee payment challan in triplicate will be generated.
• Take the print out of the challan and go to the nearest Indian Bank branch and make payment.
• The bank official will fill in the Branch Name, Journal No. and CBS Branch Code in the three copies of challan.Ensure that the bank official mentions the above three details when he/she stamps your challan.
• Bank’s copy will be retained by the Indian Bank branch concerned.
• Retain the candidate’s copy for your reference.
• After making the payment you need to go to ‘Payment Details’ and enter the Journal No., CBS Branch Code and Branch Name.
• Candidates will be required to upload the scanned RITES copy of the challan.
• Only experience certificates, salary slips, Form 16 and bona fide certificates are acceptable as proof of experience. Offer letters are not acceptable.
• The candidates are also advised to keep a copy of such application form with them.

Application Fee for RITES Recruitment through GATE 2022:

The candidates are not required to deposit any fees for applying to the post of Graduate Engineer Traines through GATE Score.

Salary Structure for RITES Recruitment through GATE 2022:

Candidates will be placed in the IDA pay scale of INR 20,600 – 46,500 during the training period with starting basic pay of INR 20,600/-. Besides the basic pay, they will be paid Dearness Allowance (DA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) during the training period.

After successful completion of the training period and confirmation, candidates shall be engaged as Assistant Manager in IDA pay scale of INR 20,600 – 46,500, and would be paid Basic pay and DA, fixed/variable allowances as applicable in the scale, Performance Related Pay, HRA/Lease, Contribution to PF, Gratuity as per Gratuity Act. The approximate emoluments after confirmation as Assistant Manager shall be 10 LPA.
