Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) invites applications for B.Tech programmes

Applicants have been invited for admission in B.Tech in the following specializations for the academic session 2012-13.

•  Petroleum Engineering
•  Chemical Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:
Admission will be granted on the basis of IIT JEE–2012 rank list. The candidate should have a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (55% in case of SC/ST/Physical Disability) in class 12th or equivalent.
Important Dates:

•  Last date for submission of online application: June 29, 2012(Friday)
•  Last date for receipt of application by post: July 05, 2012 (Thursday)
•  Issue of offer letters: July 10, 2012(Tuesday)
•  Last date for the acceptance of offer letter: July 20, 2012(Friday)
•  Declaration of final list of selected candidates: July 23, 2012(Monday)
•  Date of registration at Rae Bareli: July 31, 2012(Tuesday)
•  Classes commence: August 01, 2012(Wednesday

Application Fee:
Rs.1000/-(One thousand only)
Payment of the application fee can be made either through demand draft ( in favour of "Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology" payable at Rae Bareli) or through online transfer.
Reservation:
Reservation policy as per the Government of India directives will be applicable.

• Admit card of IIT-JEE 2012.
• Class 10th and 12th certificates and mark sheets.
• Valid caste certificates as per the central government list for OBC/SC/ST category.
• Valid certificates for physically handicapped category.
• One stamp size latest photo upload the application form and one stamp size color photo stapled on the top of the application form

The print out of online application duly signed along with demand draft/details of online payment and necessary enclosures should reach at the following address by the last date as specified in the important dates. Please mark the envelope “Application form for B.Tech./ M.Tech.”.
