Power Point Presentation Competition at ITM University

A Power Point Presentation competition was organised at ITM University on January 21-22, 2014. It was open for all students.

The main aim of the competition was to impart much needed soft skills. Prastuti the war of presentations is the brainchild of two third year students of the University, Mr. Pulkit Garg and Mr. Chirag Aggarwal.

The competition was organised and executed with the help of School of Professional Attachment (SPA), and under the guidance of Mr. B.K. Gutpa, (Director, SPA) and Mr. Chetan Singh.

The response from students was overwhelming with nearly 50 teams registering for it, out of which only 28 were shortlisted. The teams were marked on different parameters ranging from body language, to the way of delivering the presentation. After the competition 8 teams were shortlisted and they will be carving for the niche in second and final round, scheduled for February 6, 2014.

Also, in order to help teams prepare well for the final round, a session with Mr. Vishesh Chadha, (Co-Founder, and Learning Street) was organised on January 29, 2014. Prastuti was one of its kind, and the first competition where all the three schools of ITM University, came together on a common platform.

School of Professional Attachment in ITM University is working really hard towards nurturing students for the future. Different events that are being planned for future include GD/PI rounds, aptitude tests and seminars and workshops.
